Secondary School life versus Junior College life.

1. fights would break out for no reason at all but just for the sake of it.

2. if u dropped a bowl or plate in the canteen, there's gonna be a HELL LOT of jeering, guys going "OOOOOOOH" and "UUUUUUUUUH" and if you were an idiot ( like me and so many others ) u'd join in the "OOOOOOOOOH"s and the "UUUUUUUUH"s

3. cutting queues in the canteen was a BREEZE. i didnt do it to the seniors, not even when i'm bigger than them most of the time. guess it's the respect i've always thought that must be given to a senior. ( oh i dont give it to jimmy. like everything else, there are ALWAYS exceptions :D )

4. had my fair share of fights in secondary school. HAHA i miss 'em :( oh and i think i've even fought with tim once ! :D

5. racism's inevitable, especially in a school that's chinese dominated. there wasnt a single pure indian or malay in my school. ( YES i used to crack the jokes in class, but i am NOT racist :) )

6. getting sent outta class IS fun, and NO you wont get into ANY trouble. ( oh please. i was sent out every other maths lesson in lower sec. dont u dare qie this expert here !!! )

7. getting caned on the hand seemed a lil scary, but you'll laugh 'bout it after. getting caned on the ASS seemed quite scary, but it's not that painful ( yes i've first hand, no pun intended, experience, believe me ! ) and you'd laugh your ass ( no pun intended again ) off after the caning !

8. skipping classes IS WRONG ! i mean, who's gonna entertain the class when you're not around ! :D

9. singing in class. oh i still do that in JC :D

10. annoying the teachers in any possible way.

11. stripping ANYWHERE in school was a luxury. ah.. yes i do admit lots of nyjc girls ARE in fact guys, but there are also many girls who ARE effete.

And i could just go on and on.

The only similar things that happen in jc now's the fact that i still dont hand up homework, skip lectures occasionally, do lotsa dumb stuff in class, and still get away with it ! oh i missed out one important difference :

12. cashcards. maris stella's the only school, or i think it is, to use cashcards to pay for food. and the great thing is that u can pull it out before money's deducted ! :D sooo... there was a period of time where i just COULDNT use up my 40 bucks. man it sure was a looooooooooooong period of time :D someone just shoot me.


i cant stop comparing the two. i do admit there've been vicissitudes in my life since the year began ( and the year's ending already ! ) but i dont mind change. change is ineluctable.

Girls love to scold, bite and scratch, guys just love to brawl. i DO miss those fights in secondary school ! :( no one fights in JC ! it's so BORING ! everyone's just being nice to each other ( or acting at least :) ) well, there wasnt any fighting in sec4 ( not if u count alvin kicking mark around the classroom occassionally a fight ). hmm.. oh there was Ming Yan. everyone hated him, i tried my best not to, but it was bloody hard i tell u ! tim was trying hard to too ! :D hahaha poor sod, after all of us graduated, no one's heard of him ever. probably gone back to that shythole called malaysia. he was one sad liar... even my ass cheeks could do jim carrey impressions better than him lying ! 80, 000 dollars in his bank account. remember that 'un, tim ? :) i think there was this once in sec2 when he really got me angry, i kinda threw him 'round class. surprise surprise, there werent any fights in my class in sec3, but the guys fought outside of school. lol.

So what if they fought and drank and smoked ? they were FUN ! they knew how to have fun. my jc class's boring. every lesson, i'd be the only one trying to make the noise. haha, 3Gabriel had so much fun that, we were the discipline masters' favourite class to visit. the countless times james and zaka got caned... they separated them to both corners of the class but nothing really changed. once the teachers turned their backs they'd start walking around class and swapped seats with the others. oh yea, josh'd sleep behind class and get his nigga arse sent outta class too. sec3, i was considerably guai, comparing me to the others, of course :D then in sec4, seems like i took over, but hey ! i survived :) i still am, amazingly, in this boring junior college.

How many friends would i still be in contact with years from now ? how many wont ? Parting is inevitable. it's not a matter of Why or How, but a more important question is When.

Darn i'm still thinking 'bout yesterday. really disappointed with myself, still thinkin' 'bout jianlin telling me what the SP hooker said to jamal, and disappointing jamal, and just... being disappointing. nothing has bothered me this much before, not even the exams. I really thought both teams exchanged jerseys. the wallybees were running like new zealand always does, and new zealand seemed like their sad opponents, always on the pathetic end of the defensive line.

NBA live 2004, jedi academy too, wwe raw 2, gladius, all of 'em are on the xbox.. there's rugby 2004 too, but the graphics kinda suck ? everyone looks the same. i'd get star wars Galaxies too, if i had the cable connection for my xbox, and if it was more popular in singapore. Ooo star wars Republic Commando's out summer 2004, which means by that time i'll have to be studying hard for the As already. aye, i'm sure i can squeeze some time for starwars games in my timetable eh ? ;) ah screw.. My blog had some problems... so havent blogged since saturday.

Okay.. i'll start on sat... what did i do.. erm, oh, caught the Singapore Cricket Club International Sevens tournament. haha joe and jianlin came only to see the last match. ooo those heineken girls looked gooood........... then after saturday comes.. Sunday.

Sunday... went to padang to watch the Sevens again ! lol this time only joe came along. ( and he caught more than the last match :D ) we got this free mini sized rugby ball each.. damn cute ! hahaha i sleep with it every night now :P oo those heineken girls looked reallly hot. hahaha bloody hell... they HAD to distract us with the girls, didnt they ? :) back to the Sevens... the caucasian and negro players are huge ! and those samoans too ! it's scary to know that they can run jsut as fast or even faster than our smaller players. sevens is also quite different from the normal 15s or even a 10-aside game. its all running.. oh, and i thought shah was an excellent player, since he's in the national team, but he didnt really perform during the 2 games i saw him.

Monday was bloody boring. had a hang over, school didnt go too well till lunch time. school was like a dead town. waited in the student lounge with rich till my dad came to meet mr toh. "dudley's restless, hyperactive, not being fair to his abilities, needs to concentrate in class" but before that dad already told me he knew what mr toh's gonna say.. lol. anyway.. cant belief bao xin got retained... heard he doesnt hand up HW like me. and he was from 4A last year ! 4A students always hand up their homework... guess he changed after coming to JC ? quite sad.. thought the entire team went up to j2, but turned out one fellow got retained... good thing is, baoxin's still quite cheerful. if he's sad, he sure doesnt show it.

I talked to andre before practice. haha.. was talking 'bout sec school stuff. we have one thing in common : we got caned so many times in sec 1-3, but not once in sec 4 ! then we turned our conversation to jimmy. he's one major sad case. he was quite tall in p6, but andre saw him get pushed down the stairs and had his bag thrown out the window. hahaha quite funny at first.. then in sec sch no one liked him 'cause he's just being.. jimmy, trying to act handsome ( though he IS ) cool with the girls, acting like he's one popular guy. bloody irritating i tell u, and i'm not even his classmate ! his sec sch classmates didnt like him either. then he got retained last year. worst of all.. his mother's an absolute b*tch. quite poor thing la.. everyone would pity him if he wasnt such an egoistical idiot. jimmy's really a guy with potential, he's tall, quite good looking, and he's athletic too. if he didnt have that ego of his, people would like him MUCH MUCH better, and if his mom was a LITTLE BIT nicer to her son, he'd quite likely be one of those popular dudes in school. but till he changes... i'm not gonna stop swuaning him :P hahahaha.

So many guys didnt turn up for training 'cause they heard it was a fitness session. felt quite sianz about it but decided to turn up. as usual tian bao and vegustian didnt turn up, but mark came though. aye.. must really go run.. haha always tell myself i-must-run but in the end, i'll end up slacking. oh yea.. mr toh said i needed motivation, a driving force to push me so i'd go. lol. i've yet to find Motivation. quite a sianz training, nobody was hyped up, i was lazy to tackle, to run. that's really bad.. i'm slacking before friday's games. then wednesday, duno if i can come, mommy's reluctant to let me train 'cause friday's the AO chinese paper.

Friendster's pretty cool, 'cause you'd get to meet old and new friends. quite surprised kathleen found me ! haha. kathleen's not the bunny that i've known for years since primary school, but this one's from my combined science tuition class last year. quite a sweet looking girl, had a crush on her before :\ one fact 'bout friendster annoys me, and thats when some people who you don't know add you ( for what reason i dunno, maybe to add on to the number of contacts they have ? ) like that desmond guy from council.. who's he ? dunno him.. lol. durga added me, but at least i know her 'cause she's in joe's class. ooo that marissa girl's definitely popular. lol. checked out the number of guys who wrote down testimonials for her in her friendster account ! all sweet, nice things 'bout her. LOL. well, guess this is the real world.. when a girl's ugly, no one wants to get close to her. when a girl's beautiful, every guy wants to know her. haha.

ARGH i cant stand school these days. PW PW PW PW PW PW. i'd give PW up for CHINESE LESSONS ! what's fucking wrong with MOE. as if the A levels wasnt enuf. then came SAT, and now, project work. *curses something that rhymes distinctly with Cracking Bell* but anyway, heck. it's gonna be over soon, and i can take SAT a few times before i get into U. hmm.. oh, adults will have to pay 5 bucks to get a farecard, so you pay 15 bucks, and there's only a value of 7 dollars inside the card. thats fucking stupid man, giving the reason that ppl return rotten cards back for refund. and the 5 bucks is non-refundable. how low can this get ?
