Whoops. sorry. many many api-lo-geeees. the title for the episode 3's The Revenge of the Sith , not The Rise of the Empire. i think The Revenge of the Sith is brilliant, because the Sith finally rise again after their fall millenia ago. if i remember correctly, the remaining Sith fought till there was only one left, and he was Darth Bane. he started the only-two-sith thing, a master and an apprentice.
I've read the comic The Golden Age of the Sith before, but i've forgotten what happened. man, when i've got my own money i'm gonna buy all the star wars comics available !!
Oh for the benefit of those who don't know.. the Sith's actually a race who lived on yavin 4 ( i hope i remembered correctly ! ) but somehow they became extinct. then later on jedi who fell to the dark side called themselves the Sith.
Yep i'm a star wars guru. challenge me !!!!!! :P
PE's gonna be crappy tomorrow... dancing the All-Star dance for Ace's Day, the same one we did for orientation.
What a bummer.

OMG was checking out on boey kim cheng when i found this girl's online diary. she actually LOVES BCK ! OMG ! check this out :
i love BCK's poems so much... they're lovely and simple eggs to me... not in a bad way... a way that's hard to describe... almost like a sad, nostalgic loss... it's a deep feeling... deeper than sad, sympathy, pain... it's just so enduring...
Teck says she's from pjc.. after reading what she typed down... i dunno how i feel exactly, but "it's jst so enduring.." ???? "it's a deep feeling... deeper than sad, sympathy, pain" ??????????? hahahahahahaha ( excuse me :D ) hahahahahaha now THAT'S a first. BCK's poems are lovely. somehow i've got this feeling that this girl only took literature in jc. outta the subs she take, she seems to like lit the most. surprise, surprise. i dunno why, but when students start studying lit, they kinda realise.. Hey that's true !! when it's always been staring straight into their faces all the while. happened to me too in sec2 ( when i started to take it seriously :P hey i had a ZERO for lit in sec1 during the mid yrs 'cause i couldnt be bothered with the sub :D )
Angela Carter ? if i'm not wrong she's gothic. okay la, that's fine.. but BCK's poems, enduring ? Ooookaaaaaaaaaay :D HEY i'd do sylvia plath ANY DAY if i had a choice between her works and BCK's.
Yahoo's kinda cool. searching for BCK's stuff let me come across that girl's blog, hasif's blog, adam's blog, another pjc dude's blog. seems like pioneer's also doing BCK. why did NY have to choose BCK for us ?? coleridge is fine.. so's stoppard and wilde, but boey kim cheng...? -sob- i'm crying already.
And missy victor's started on long day's journey into night already. almost, almost.. :) hopefully we really start NEXT WEEK :)
( looking on the brighter side of life... WE'RE NOT DOING CATHERINE LIM'S CRAP :D )

It's another one of those entries where i wanted to type loads of stuff into when laziness just hits.
I'll just say what happened today.... poled teck meng after PE, heard the pole went back and forth on 'im :D , gave 'im his prezzies, and ate rachel's cake for him. thanks rachel ur sweet ! :)
It's also another one of those extremely stupid mornings where my mom, well she just did her usual stupid nonsensical crap, and we started hollering at each other. cant stand waking up so early for some dumbass reason anymore.. i wont mind waking up early when NS comes, but waking up for a dumb reason is..... dumb. it's so ludicrous i wont tell why. it's just.. dumb.
The uncle cooking minced pork noodles at j8 was a commando. said everyone had to run 2.4km in under 16 minutes. uh huh ? tell me about it.

There is no emotion, there is peace
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge
There is no passion, there is serenity
There is no death, there is the force
:D
I was thinking of this when i was playing Star Wars : Knights of the Old Republic , 'cause two jedi discussed about one of 'em's past. love is a concern to the Jedi Code, because of it one of them left the Jedi Order. to be a jedi one cannot have emotions or passions, as such thoughts would put the jedi in danger of straying to the dark side. jolee bindu thinks it's wrong, love is an emotion one can't deny, and it should not lead one to a dark path.
Was wondering about the similarities between buddhists and the jedi, 'cause both seem to deny human emotions ( though one of 'em's a made up religion by george lucas :D ) one deny's emotions so that we can achieve a state of nirvana, the other deny's passion to achieve mastery of the Force. it got me thinking... why do we even bother denying feelings that are as good as instinct ?
Then again i'm a firm believer in the Force more than in certain buddhist teachings :D
I must be drunk........... alcohol lessens your living time span, or so i've read.... heck, live for the moment, sometimes it's good not to plan ahead. sometimes.
May the Force be with you !!!!!!!!!
Always :)

Normally i'd be at the gym pumpin iron now, but since i'm sick i CAN'T ! mommy thinks i got it from the gym but i think otherwise... seems like a couple of my friends and schoolmates have gotten sick all of a sudden too. queer. oh what's worse ? i sprained my left pinkie while attempting to grab a ball and it clashed with adam's ( the dude from science ) head during friday's morning PE for soccer. guess what, the ball went in :) so much for sacrificing my finger. now ? i feel bloody cross 'bout it, making such a useless sacrifice, and i probably cant weight-lift till it heals, which would probably take at least a week. sigh. all that hard work gone, just because of... SOCCER. oooh how i dread the sport even more so now......
The number one sport on planet Earth : football. it's so weird i'm not even the least bit interested in it, though it's the most popular sport in singapore. even girls like daena and sab have more interest in it than i do !! lol it's a real wonder why i've got no interest in it at all. i do remember liking football a bit in lower primary school, but it's even lesser than a shadow of my feelings for it now... every time my friends chat up 'bout soccer, i'm like.. eeerr okkayyyyy..?
Wadeva :D
( sue me, bitch :PPPP u know who u are hahahahahahahahaha :) )
Oh dread, dread, dread, dread, dread... bkc's coming back ! drat.. drat.. drat.. drat.. drat.. ms victor is so boring. she doesnt seem to know more about boeykimcheng than anyone. or maybe she does, but she sure doesnt know how to express herself right. it doesnt help either that her voice is so... dreamy. i ( and bet the entire lit cohort too ) soooo miss ms tan.. we lost her, weng, that geog teach, and another one of our lit teachers is gonna leave next year.. how many more good teachers are we gonna lose in ny ?
Mr toh mentioned a student who wrote bad stuff 'bout her teachers, and one of 'em found out 'cause he/she read her blog. i don't really care who reads my blog... i really don't. druthers have upright honesty on my chest than the guilt and shame of hyocrisy hanging on my neck.
Speaking of hypocrisy... it's getting indubitably obvious that the orc, pig and the retard are really getting on the nerves of the rest of the class. really tried to make exceptions and compromises in j1, but coming from there, i've really given up. even dalvin realises the orc looks in her direction and mumbles something 'bout her to the pig or retard. oh ho ho.. they don't even bother socialising with us.. saddens me to acknowledge that. want concrete evidence of the "wadeva syndrome" in 'em ? drama club had their meeting in the drama/lit room, but we had CT just before that. everyone left... oh guess who stayed behind ? the orc and the retard. ( to quote my secsch maths teacher mr ng chow yam ) WAKE UP YOUR IDEA !!! i mean, people are having a meeting there la.. don't pretend like there's no one else around you ! wait.. i guess that's how they treat everyone else, they're in their own tiny worlds and all other non-orc, non-pig, and non-retard human beings have no existence.
So why can't we all just co-exist peacefully ? :)
I believe i've ended off my blog with this before, but heck, i'll be happy for repetition if it means even the smallest bit of amusement to me :D
Fight for world intelligence, not peace !

Hate being sick. no wonder i had problems running during pe. hate feeling weak all over. slept a fair bit today.. wasted a saturday all because of a fever :( teckmeng smsed me to ask if i was going for history lecture in the morning ( never knew there was one ) but didnt read the msg till 2pm. lol, slept the entire morning away. wouldnt have gone for hist lec anyway, since it's so bloody COLD !!
Thought of something silly before sleep. have u ever wondered, that, if you ever had a blocked nose and you never had a mouth, you actually suffocate to death ? thank God for our mouths :)
Lethargic.... need... sleep.........................

At Grass by philip larkin
The eye can hardly pick them out
From the cold shade they shelter in,
Till wind distresses tail and mane;
Then one crops grass, and moves about
- The other seeming to look on -
And stands anonymous again.
Yet fifteen years ago, perhaps
Two dozen distances sufficed
To fable them: faint afternoons
Of Cups and Stakes and Handicaps,
Whereby their names were artificed
To inlay faded, classic Junes -
Silks at the start: against the sky
NUmbers and parasols: outside,
Squadrons of empty cars, and heat,
And littered grass: then the long cry
Hanging unhushed till it subside
Top stop-press columns on the street.
Do memories plague their ears like flies ?
They shake their heads. Dusk brims the shadows.
Summer by summer all stole away,
The starting-gates, the crowds and cries -
All but the unmolesting meadows.
Almanacked, their names live; they
Have slipped their names, and stand at ease,
Or gallop for what must be joy,
And not a fieldglass sees them home,
Or curious stop-watch prophesies:
Only the groom, and the groom's boy,
With bridles in the evening come.
A poem we did in class during mrs teo's tutorial. she asked, why race horses, and not wild horses ? young race horses have all the glory, the old ? they just vanish, don't they ? just think.. michael jordan missed an open dunk when he came back in 2002, pete sampras got whacked by roger federer before he retired. what's the point of having gone through those glorious years of achievement and victory, when it's all going to end in retirement because of the pathos of aging, and ultimately in death ? no significance, no meaning, no purpose. like the race horses, our lives are measured by social conventions, and when we fail to meet the standards, we're sidelined, as mrs teo says.
It's worth it. a decade of glory and achievement may be insignificant compared to a century of meaningless living, but it's definitely worth more than that. it's hell better than living your life without ANY achievement at all. if we do, then what's the point of living ? after all.. everyone seeks a purpose, innit ?

The weekend wasnt exactly exciting, 'cept that i'm quite happy i've got a GNC vip card.
Had to miss kexin's bbq for reasons ( i dont have to bloody state the reasons now, do i !!!? )
Missed the woodstock thing, 'cause i thought it would be boring. well, not exactly boring, but i knew for sure it couldnt have been compared to last year's palooza. last year's palooza was fun.. got high, poled mr lee ( that's also how i got the scar on my left knee :) it kinda got scratched by the tablet below the clock tower ) body surfed. the quadrangle's definitely bigger than the area outside LT4 too. band.. if only the Dauntings were in NY :) .. i'm the only existing member in jc, the rest are in NS.. lol... i do miss the times being in the choir. oh, nigel's band didnt play i think, and neither did joe's. the only guys i knew who played were dick's band the sofakings, and weilien and ahmad. heard there's another one, one formed recently this year, buuuuut heard they suck.
So to quote teck meng.. life is like so wadeva. weekend wouldve been better if i didnt have shit to do, i couldnt even meet josh and ben for pool yesterday ! that sucks..
Got this from teck's blog. lol : many things bring out the WADEVA spirit in life.. symptoms of the wadeva syndrome includes feeling down almost everday, and the potent desire to sleep ur life away. yupz.. and tis is like so wAdEvA!!
So this is my friend's life, which includes the wadeva syndrome and sleeping. Intriguing :D
'right. tomorrow's the third week of school. how quick.. can't wait for aliens versus predator, garfield, and halo 2 !!

Arms
To start off with I will take the arms. The arms are split into 3 areas. The Biceps, the Triceps and the Forearms. I will start with the biceps. The main exercises for the biceps are curls. I would use standing and sitting curls to start off with. Now the triceps are the biggest muscle in the arm and one of the least worked muscles in the body. I love to work the triceps because when well developed it looks really good. So many cuts and muscle just bulges out. Anyway the best exercises for the triceps are the Triceps push-downs and lying extensions. Also dips are a good triceps exercise and also works the chest well. For the forearms the best exercises are wrist curls.
Biceps:
Standing Curls 8-12 reps
Sitting Curls 8-12 reps
Triceps:
Push Downs 8-12 reps
Lying Extension 8-12 reps
Shoulders
For me, shoulders are the most difficult muscle to train. When doing exercises for the shoulders it puts a lot of strain on you back. Anyway the best exercises are shoulder presses and shrugs. When doing shrugs use a really heavy weight and that will get your shoulders packing on the muscle.
Shoulders
Shoulder Press 8-12 reps
Shrugs 8-12 reps
Legs
The legs are a great looking body part once well developed. Squats are definitely the best exercise for the legs. Any bodybuilder will tell you that. Anyway Squats are for the quads. The legs have 3 different muscles. Quads, Hams and Calves. Now for the quads we have Squats and also leg extentions. For the Hams the best exercises are leg curls and stiff-legged deadlifts. And for the calves are calf raises both, standing and sitting.
Hamstrings:
Leg Curls 10-12 reps
Stiff Legged Deadlifts 10-12 reps
Quadriceps:
Squats 10-15 reps
Leg Extensions 10-12 reps
Calves:
Calf Raises
(standing & Sitting) 12-15 reps

Alright now fellas, now what's cooler than being cool ? ICE COLD !!!!
:D
I'm really sooorrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy it's just that, the song's perpetually stuck in my head.
I can't believe i'm in SOCCER for PE ! it's bloody fustrating, adam and john and kenneth are all in rugby, and i'm in SOCCER ! of course, they most likely wouldnt put me into the rugby module since it's my cca and you cant join a module that's related to your cca. this stinks, well, at least i'd get to use my boots again. getting worried if there's an ant nest inside like there was one in my previous one, lol. i really hate soccer, half the reason being my ingrown toenail, and the other half, it's not exactly an appealing sport to me. sorry to all my friends who love soccer ( which means apologising to everyone 'cept for joe, lol ) but.. nah soccer's not for me :)
Jonny wilkinson was in town yesterday, some how, the people in charge had to locate him at PARGO BUGIS. why that crap place ? okay, it's not a crappy place, but it's also not a very central place. wanted to go look at 'im, but guess it was gonna be crowded and spiderman 2 was the priority of the day :D dont get me wrong, i like the dude a lot, but i'm not crazy enough to go screaming all over pargo bugis just 'cause some superstar's in town. besides, the crowd in front were mostly english people... the combined schools people were lucky enough to meet 'im, as were the male and female national players.
Singaporeans are still wondering why we can never find our sports on the international scene. they say, it's 'cause "asians small la, we small country also, how to compete with other big big countries la ?" that's not entirely true, in my opinion. just look at jonny wilko, not many people here may know this, but when he started out rugby, he practiced for HOURS after trainings' stopped and everyone else have(has ?) gone home. he kicks hundreds of field goals every training session. i doubt even national players like marcus blackburn and jamal practice that hard. come on, jonny wilko was NINETEEN when he played in the 1999 world cup. it's not only the size factor, it's the work ethic too. so WAKE UP YOUR BLOODY IDEAS !!!!!!! :D
Oh was asking tim about this un : is it , everyone else has, or everyone else have ? i'm not even sure about asking the english teachers in my jc.
Right, :) i've end of with the-stupidest-thing-to-say-to-someone-who-is-about-to-commit-suicide of the day :
If you ever jump, i'll fucking kill you !!!!!!!!
:D

Did i ever mention that marche's actually a hawker centre serving food at restaurant prices ? then again, there's pretty much no service at all. might as well eat at Moonfish. no idea why people still eat at marche :( pretty sad, must be the lack of exposure.
OKkkkkkkkkkkkkkayyyy :D
I feel sad for portugal for losing to the greeks, not because i bet and lost like so many other suckers ( some of whom are MY friends :D *sorry hahahahaha ), but 'cause they're the ones with home ground advantage, fought all the way to the finals only to lose. strange enough, i was kinda happy when the english beat the wallybees last year for the webb elis cup. then again, it isnt, since i was supporting england... poor ronaldo, he cried. my poor fool for a mother.. says he's silly for crying, she'd never understand, like how she never comprehends so many other things. well :) that's what you get for living in your own obselete world.
OH i finally caught spiderman 2. was SUPPOSED to watch godsend, but teckmeng and i decided to catch spiderman 2 instead, since the cinema wasnt fully booked. ha ha ha , pang seh-ed john, sorry dude :( ( revenge for pang seh-ing me to catch van helsing ! now didnt that film suck ! =P ) evil of us, i know, but john kept asking to watch it another day, either for tennis or some other thing. lol. hey, i dont mind watching spiderman 2 again though.. it's obvious that the hobgoblin's gonna be in spiderman 3 ( they bloody well film it ! )
Come to think of it, there's a whole lot more of villians to appear yet. there's the lizard, VENOM !! CARNAGE !! the sandman ! ( the sandman gave spidey a hell lot of pounding everytime they met in the comics, and it's not gonna be tough filming sandman with modern tech these days.. ) there's also the dude who fires out laser from both his arms, what's his name ? oh yea, shocker or something like that. i pray venom will appear soon... he's really awesome man.
Saw kareen too, she's waiting for her pri sch friend, then when i went back, met SHIT and the other dude from 4F but i forgot his name !!!! ok .. the point of excitment is.. i met SHIT !!!! (= for the benefit of those who dont know what i'm talking about ( all except for, maybe josh ) shit's the nickname of a sec schmate of mine, shin yew. shin yew's the dude who always brought chewing gum for us in class, especially a maths class.. the class i dreaded the most. absolutely hated mrs victor wee's classes, though i did respect her.. it's always alvin, shit, yiming and i getting into trouble, lol, 'cause we're sitting together. The good Old Times :)
School resumes tomorrow ! can't wait, to be real honest. ( no really, i can't. FINE ! if you dont believe me.... )

My Girl, the Temptations.
I've got sunshine on a cloudy day.
When it's cold outside I've got the month of May.
I guess you'd say
What can make me feel this way?
My girl (my girl, my girl)
Talkin' 'bout my girl (my girl).
I've got so much honey the bees envy me.
I've got a sweeter song than the birds in the trees.
I guess you'd say
What can make me feel this way?
My girl (my girl, my girl)
Talkin' 'bout my girl (my girl).
Hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
Ooooh.
I don't need no money, fortune, or fame.
I've got all the riches baby one man can claim.
I guess you'd say
What can make me feel this way?
My girl (my girl, my girl)
Talkin' 'bout my girl (my girl).
I've got sunshine on a cloudy day
with my girl.
I've even got the month of May
with my girl...
You know, they always kept the songs before the nineties short and sweet. simple lyrics, pleasant music. it came to me on friday night when there was this awful band playing at some opened air fosters bar near cuppage plaza. -_- it was REALLY awful !
Oh tim just sent to me the trailer for episode 3 ! somehow, it gives me the feeling of darkness triumphing over good. i hope it aint as disappointing as the first 2 episodes ! 'least the name's better, not some cheesy name like Attack of the Clones. couldnt Lucas have named it something like the Clone Wars ? it does sound better, but too late for that. Rise of the Empire's pretty a decent name for a HUGE movie like episode 3.
..
What was it i looked forward to after the PSLE ? secondary school ? i dont believe i did. i even left the choice of secondary schools to my parents, something which i would definitely NOT do if it was now that i was to choose.... then what did i look forward to after the O levels ? junior college ? now that i think of it, i didn't really have a clear thought of it. now, what do i want after the As ? DEFINITELY NOT to serve my country. i've always believed in living life and making sure there's a meaning to it. now i've become more like a nihilist everyday. i've lost all capacity for belief... maybe because there's an black hole within me, sucking everything into it's dark abyss slowly...

I really wanna watch spiderman but everywhere it was sold out, except for the night ones, 'cause john didnt wanna watch the night ones. feeling angry, think it always comes after a bout of disappointment. but nvm that, hope we'd catch it monday. GOD there're so many movies i wanna catch, like godsend, asterix and obelix, maybe chronicles of riddick. heard it's ridiculous ( that's getting old and cheesy ) but if the guys are watching, then might wanna watch.
Oh yea, happy bday marcus. can't wait to pole 'em tuesday :D
Don't want to meet your daddy
Just want you in my Caddy
Don't want to meet your momma
Just want to make you come-a
I swear, Outkast is bleeding crazy ! Heya's on my re-play list, lol. just can't get the song outta my head right now :D
Hey, williams lost the wimbeldon to some 17 year old russian gal, think she lost the first set 1-6. aiy yi yi yi yi. not bad, for a seventeen year old, not bad at all.
Now all Beyonce's and Lucy Lui's and baby dolls
Get on the floor
Get on the floor
You know what to do
See ? song stuck in my head :D
And here's where i leave.
( what's cooler than cool ? ICE COLD ! alritealritealritealritealritealritealritealritealritealrtiealritealritealritealritealritealrite )

FINALLY, Mr. Gan's got a blog. fans of teck meng, his blog's on the left :P gee tomorrow's mshs' youth day carnival. not too sure if i'm going back weilien......
Right. what i really want to blog about's below, which i actually wrote on tuesday during econs paper 3. ( don't bother asking, it's ECONS PAPER THREE :) )
Perfection. what ever Human Being truly seeks, a form to be wished and withheld in one's grasp. it's true meaning ? i don't think there's a one, all-true meaning to it. everyone's got different unique perspectives about it, therefore, Perfection is different from what we think it is as others do.
I seek it, but not for the same goals as others do. physical perfection is part of it, but it is so easy to achieve as compared to Perfection of the mind, which to me, is the hardest of all to master. If famous and infamous people dead and alive have not reached that level yet, what makes me think i can ? Fredriech Neitzsche didnt, neither did Karl Marx, or ( i hate to add his name but i've gotta admit it ) even Boey KC. one believed that religion is nonsense, one was a nihilist, the third... he's still looking for answers. did they believe that they could, and had achieved a state of Perfection ?
There are an uncountable number of obstructions hindering our path to Perfection. The unknown is one. uncertainty wastes precious time, and as we waste it we find ourselves no where.
It's truly remarkable that we Humans, though the species with the highest intelligence in this world, only use a minute portion of our brain. so.. as the next stage of Evolution commences in the next few thousands of years ( or it could even happen next year ) later, when our brain's been fully utilised, and when we finally stop evolving, will we finally shed of the fear of the Unknown and achieve the State of Perfection ? is that our perfect form, the ultimate species of the universe ?
In a modern ( soon to be obselete ) world, we are perfecting technology and human research, but we still live in an imperfect world of death, hate and sorrow even in the midst of those happy moments in our lives. it's like.. a graph split into two, one on an upper slope, the other in the opposite direction. will they one day move back in the same direction and reach the finishing line ? ....... all in a matter of time, perhaps..
This is my view of Perfection. what's yours ?
