I'm pretty sad, like every slim shady fan out there, that Em's leaving. But never mind that, everyone'll respect his decision to, he's doing it for his daughter man.

It's been a long time since I've typed an entry, mostly due to laziness. So Christmas and New Year's all over.. So's Haji, but it doesnt really matter to me other than the fact that it's a day off from camp :)

Sure, time's flying, which could both be a good and bad thing. It's near the end of January, and tomorrow's Chinese New Year already. Next thing I know, I'dve ORDed and then my two years of fun and boredom would end. Bad, because I wont be having fun much longer by then, since I'd enter NUS a couple of months later, but good because I would finally have ended my two years of time wasting.

Havent really decided on my New Year resolutions.. but here goes :


1) To start reading more, on relevant stuff for what I'm gonna study in the U, and reduce my time on "bumming"

2) To obtain my driving license by June

3) Discipline myself to lose even more weight and get fitter

4) Get back on my weights regime


Yeah.. guess that's it.. not much eh ? 3 and 4 would be the toughest. 2 would be the easiest. Let's see how things go by the end of this year.

Speaking of Chinese New Year, I don't know how the term Lunar New Year came about. It's Chinese New Year for fuck's sake. Stop using "lunar" , it's annoyingly ludicrous.

And Chinese New Year isnt as exciting as it was when I was still in primary school. Especially after my grandma passed away a couple of years ago, havent seen a certain few relatives in a while. You know.. when some people are gone, that unifying factor goes away too. Well...

And sometimes, I wonder if being too nice is a bad thing... not only do people take advantage of it, the don't appreciate it. I can overlook the taking advantage of part, but what really bothers me is the dontappreciateit part, which makes me think whether it's worth it, sometimes...

I guess I shouldnt be brooding over unhappy thoughts. It's the new year...

So I guess I should smile, and so do you :)
